I offer free quotes for all jobs so this can vary. The first hour is £45, then £35 per hour plus materials. Sometimes it's better to make a list and get me to come for my day rate of £220 which I charge for bigger jobs

I will invoice you once the job has been completed. I accept cash, cheque, card or bank transfers. For bigger jobs I may need a deposit before I can start work to buy materials

This is your choice, I am happy to provide the materials but some customers prefer to buy their own. I can discuss this with you when I come to quote.

I am a local, independent trades person who prides himself on his friendly, honest and professional work. I have full public liability insurance for your peace of mind and a current DBS check.

For most small jobs this can just go in your house hold waste. For bigger jobs its often cheaper for you to take the waste to the tip but I can arrange for this to be collected and add the cost to the quote/invoice. 

Over the years I have built up a wide skill base but there are some jobs that are best left to specialists:   

•All gas and electrical work should be carried out by qualified professionals  

•Carpet laying  

•Waste collection and disposal  

•Plastering

•Brick laying  (I’m happy to build small garden walls)

•Roofing  

•Drainage work  

•Damp proofing work  

While I cannot carry out this work I do have trusted trade contacts who can. If there are any jobs that may include these they will be on hand to work along side me or I am happy to recommend them.
